The director Haeems has a thing for immortality and transhumanism. It doesn't matter that the reasons he fails are morally extinct and that the way he handles crisis is to succumb to apparent psychotic strength, because he is a nice scientist that can't do violence. Official A brilliant but disturbed scientist freezes his children alive. Chimera originally had its World Premiere in February 2018 at the prestigious Fantasporto International Film Festival in Portugal. It will continue further with the theme of advancement in human biotechnology and the extension of human lifespans. The casting was selected by Mark Tillman who also cast It 1990 , MacGyver and Robocop 1994.
If this is the first effort for Haeems, I wait in anticipation for what he has in the works. The warehouse-style laboratory looks rather pretty at times. A cliched and ridiculous promise that doesn't really do justice to scientists or mad scientists for that matter. A Great Entry to Thriller Sci-Fi Movies Chimera was not what I expected after seeing the trailer. It took three thirds of the movie to reach an obvious conclusions, only to change things as a superfluous twist that no one needed. I enjoyed the giant crocodiles and man-face bear.

Bottom line: a movie in which all people acted for the money, rather than for the idea of the film, resulting in a boring, cliched, pointless plot and a sub mediocre performance. .
Final Thoughts on Chimera Strain 2018 I thought to myself, the science nerds are going to love this! I Iiked the recent movie Annihilation which hit Netflix last month. He is not, however, a lightweight. Praxis Media Ventures ChimeraTheMovie Henry Ian Cusick Quint starred in Lost. Don't expect a cheery uplifting story but if you want to be challenged and provoked - watch this movie, i have deduced a point because their lack of budget shows in places. .
