Today I googled and got this post with you and the same problem. When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Windows says it isn't plugged in, if I uninstall the Realtek driver it shows the speakers connecting and unplugging constantly with a faint bassy sound each time, if I reinstall the driver it thumps when the driver actually gets installed but it then shows it as unplugged. I have restarted my tv and my laptop several times. How to do that and how to make sure windows never update again. That was the first thing I tried in order to get this working.
The volume light on the laptop base was indicated as red which meant the volume was off, even when the volume on the laptop screen was on. My originally posted answer works only with a certain driver set. You may not be able to get this motherboard to work properly with Window 10.
