Head protection air bags available from 2004, standard from 2010. The 6-speed manual is a little vague, but some aftermarket shifter-bushings can fix that up easily. This speed is supposed to be cheap, after all. The interior is very functional for an experienced racer, leather accents on the seats as opposed to full leather. Appears to be rust coloured. I like the fact that it's an affordable performance everyday car and the interior is relatively quiet and comfortable.
Also having the same problem on both rearview mirrors. There's a reason it was touted so highly when it came out in 2007. The Mazda 3 is a quality piece. Increase range of clutch control. I had same condition before and after a complete brake job. Otherwise, Go have a cold one Mazda, you've done a remarkable job on this one! All the auto features Climate, Stability, Wipers, etc are indeed a blessing at this price point.
Mazdaspeed3 in the Market Mazda has done it. The car was marketed for 30s and under but from reviews I have read, an older buyer also has an interest. I'm in my 50's but I have always owned performance cars that offer mobility, brake safety, mileage, and quickness. The Honda Civic may be the Mazda 3's closest competitor in terms of quality and sporty character. Back seats fold down so you can haul those fence posts and boards if needed. This is a no-frills machine, and the regular Mazda3 already sports an attractive interior for a compact car. Of course I generally get 17 or so, living in the twisty mountains.
The Corvette ceased being really practical due to a few changes in my life, but this thing is a hoot! Do note that this little beast sips 93 octane. But it won't deliver the thumping bass that is also part of the hot hatchback culture, and the stereo won't easily be upgraded to satisfy music lovers. Flip the seats down and the cargo area expands from 16. So far its been reliable with high mileage. I'm sure some speed parts will take care of this though.
You had to go into manual shift to make it work. Volvo developed the Mazda3's body. Multiple retailer attempts to fix failed. The Madza3's very good interior quality stands out in a category where many vehicles are cheaply finished. Only have 300 miles but took it for a 100 road trip varying speeds. Around back there are new taillights, as well as a large spoiler at the top of the hatch. On hard rain sometimes transmission would not go into 4th gear or shift right.
Handles great even for a front wheel drive car, and torque steer shows up in 1st and 2nd even though they are limited but if you hold the car steady its fine. Never had exhaust system problem with so few km. What's best is I lend it to my mother sometimes and she can drive it gently and it gets 30mpg. It is quieter, rides more comfortably, and is more agile and fuel efficient than its Protegé predeccesor. Otherwise it is equipped similarly to the Touring models.
Overall, it ranks at the top of its class. They worked with me and negotiated a price on the new truck and my trade. The Speed3 is, as you must know, fast. The sedan has the traditional appearance of a four-door, five-passenger car. Radio and environmental controls are easy to reach and intuitive in every respect. For 2008, Mazda has added side-impact air bags and side air curtains to the premium s-models.

Very unhappy with how shady the dealership was. Nice bose speakers that blast your music. This car is perfectly usable. The Hyundai Elantra is another good value in the compact range of cars, and while you might be attracted to its price and warranty, the Elantra is not as refined or as quiet as the Mazda 3. Did I mention it was fun? The screen pops up at the top of the dash just fine, but the interface is located to the right of the shifter. The Mazdaspeed3 also offers electronic stability control as standard equipment, and the feature is optional on other models. There's a high-performance version called Mazdaspeed3, motivated by 263 turbocharged horsepower.
