Uprated anti-roll bars and a full geometry set up will make a huge difference. These will transform the handling, but also remain forgiving on road. We know what excites you. Decide what you want from the car and set your budget accordingly. Gurds Good work Ryan, enjoying the mixing and matching going on here.
Much appreciated 55mm is the girth of the shock absorber, which you can measure if you have a set of calipers. Would welcome any advice from the technical ninjas within this forum and will be eternally grateful. I'm cant tell if the top spec models got better bushings like the Mk4 based stuff either. A set of sports springs and dampers will firm things up nicely and drop it around 30mm. E30 and Leon Cupra are no bigger. Thanks Ryan I'm just thinking out loud here so if it makes no sense I'm sorry! I will have to make a decision soon. If you use it hard on track, the build up of heat will soon lead to fade.
A replacement of both front shocks and springs at a local garage was my first thought. Maybe bang is not the best choice of words but you get my drift. It's no go-cart but a definate worthwhile modification!! You'll soon discover there is, quite literally, nothing like it. I've got some 345 front and 310mm rear brakes on their way so stopping wont be a problem. However, I am thinking of replacing the entire suspension with an upgraded kit.
The calipers are the same. Models Include: Audi A3 8P 2006-2013 2. This will not take any additional time during installation and will guarantee a clean and proper fitment for your new suspension upgrade. Upgrading to 312mm discs is the cheapest and easiest, all you need are the caliper carriers and the discs, don't even need to bleed the brakes. If so you must reset your password using the process.

If you have already followed this process please continue to login as normal. Check to see if you have a rebuilt fuel pump on the engine. This is due to your password not being migrated across during our conversion. A few brands I've not heard of might be worth a look. As you can see it sits pretty wide, the Fat 5's are a wide wheel anyway 18x8.
And unless you had paperwork, I don't think there is any way to find out. You could pay the same money for an aftermarket kit, and end up with something terrible. Uneven drop and very uncomfortable. Origional owner never left you anythign about the chip at all in the paperwork? Which brings us on to. Although that was the mk4, so maybe things are better on the mk5. There will always be an unfamiliar road or scenario where aftermarket suspension causes purchase regret. Bilstein are to dampers what Walkers are to crisps.
I had no idea the Passat shared front end components! The calipers are the same. Plus, Neuspeed spring kits reduce wheel-well gap to create a more aggressive look for your car. Let me know if you see any inaccuracies or have more to add. I do know one thing though. The low compliance bush also maintain higher dynamic positive castor. Its characteristics include responsive steering, reduced body-roll and limited body movements.
I don't think a diagnostic will show anything. Castor was not measured or shown on the screen Anyone else have any input on what i should set it to???? I've got a Scirocco rear axle to go and look at and I'll do some hunting in Etka! The Balljoints also have extra camber adjustment too. If you don't know what tune you have, you will be paying someone the money that someone else already paid to tune it. That's the route I'd go if I were in yoru shoes. We use data about you for a number of purposes explained in the links below. Dyno tuning won't really do you any good unless you have some setup that nobody offers a preprogrammed tune for.
Chris, thanks for the response, as far as i can tell there are no documented swaps for these sort of upgrades. The standard rack is 3. Coding in is not a problem Some of the bigger engines R32, S3 etc got different cast lower arms but the numbers also cross between the Caddy and others too so not only the 'fast' cars got those. The stability of monotubes when pushing on is unbeatable though. Is it just a visual inspection or does parts have to be removed to take a measurement? It looks like a 21. Unbelievable control, precise handling, ultimate performance and incredible comfort. Have you looked into suspension? I have some 18 x 8.
